Q：I had some questions- why do you automatically delevel when you go into a lower level area? It makes it hard to help people out and irritating because I took the time to get to that level to only be deleveled. Also, in Guild Wars 1, you could hire mercs to join your group & fight. Have they taken that away in GW2? Thank you.
A：No heroes or henchmen in gw2, i thought it would be a problem but turns out you don't really miss them. Works just fine without them! When it comes to deleveling when entering a lower-level area, I think it's good. You are still better since you have better gear (which makes a big difference!) but you can't just walz through as if you're superman. =) Which in turn means you can get challenging and fun gameplay even in lower-level areas, though you yourself is of a much higher level, and play together with low-level players on the same terms.
